Elmbridge is a borough consisting of several settlements: Claygate, Cobham, Ditton, Esher, Hersham, Molesey, Walton and Weybridge. Technically, Ditton, Esher, Hersham, Molesey, Walton and Weybridge are towns and Claygate and Cobham are villages.
In turn there are various neighbourhoods with character and loyalties of their own: Ashley Park, Brooklands, Burwood Park, Claremont, Downside, East Molesey, Field Common, Hinchley Wood, Long Ditton, Lower Green, Oatlands, Oxshott, Portmore Park, Rydens, Saint George’s Hill, Stoke D’Abernon, Thames Ditton, West End, West Molesey, Weston Green, Whiteley etc. There is great variety.
