Four more Councillors added to Elmbridge Borough Council
WITH YOUR HELP WE DID IT IN THE LOCAL ELECTIONS FOR ELMBRIDGE!
The local election results on Friday saw the Lib Dems take 43% of the vote share against the Conservatives 29% in Esher and Walton.
We saw new Councillors elected in Walton South, Walton North, Walton Central and Hersham and existing Councillors re-elected in Long Ditton, East Molesey and Weybridge Riverside. They join our existing Councillors to make us the largest group on Elmbridge Borough Council with 23 Councillors.
Of the 12 wards in the Esher and Walton part of Elmbridge the Conservatives managed to hold on in just one - Oatlands, where the Lib Dems lost by 120 votes. Oatlands came into the Esher and Walton constituency in the autumn under the new boundary changes. We will be in touch with news of the new administration later this week.
