Calling time on recycling centres

21 Jan 2018

As you may have heard, Surrey County Council is reducing the opening hours of many of our well-used Community Recycling Centres (CRCs) and you can no longer dispose of “non-household waste” for free. Liberal Democrats on Surrey County Council have opposed these charges as we believe that fly-tipping will increase as a result and that instead the County Council should be doing everything possible to make it easier for residents to dispose of their waste responsibly.
